I’ve got a new album. This was from my songwriting retreat in Washington DC back in December 2018. I wrote 19 songs in 4 days. Here’s 12 of them. My production approach was a bit more laid-back than recent efforts, trying to err on the side of leaving open spaces instead of high-density art-rock like I usually do. Austin pop sensation Andrew Nolte lent keyboard parts to a couple of songs and his drummer/producer Michael Ingber delivered some tasteful drums on 3 of the tunes. Greg Yancey mastered it.
